Lake Forest College senior, Megan Mehilos, set an unprecedented standard by winning both the Women's Open Singles and Open Doubles for the fourth consecutive year. It was the first time in the 52 year history of the Intercollegiate tournament that a player was able to accomplish this incredible feat. Even more remarkable was the fact that she won the doubles titles with four different partners, this year with Samantha England.

Although the Women's Team finished first, the Lake Forest contingent did not succeed in achieving their goal of a 5th consecutive combined championship as the Men's team fell to third place. David Munson had a tie breaker loss in the Men's Open singles semi-finals to the #1 seed Dessie Keegan and then suffered another tie breaker loss in the Open Doubles finals with partner Ivan Ruiz.
