Nik Nahorniak defends his title in the 2nd annual “Contenders Champion’s Tournament”,  held @ Lake Forest College. Nik defeated last years IHA Contenders Champ, Dan Cordova(LFC) in 2-straight games.. 21-14,21-4.  Cordova made it the Finals by defeating veteran, Dane Szatkowski in a tough 3-game semi-final.. 20-21,21-15,11-6. Nahorniak faced Dave Munson in the other semi-final, which turned out to be the match of the tournament, and about 2.5hrs long. Nik prevailed 21-14,20-21,11-3. In the drop-down event, CJ Laffey(LFC) stepped in for Shane Conneely to Def. Anthony Selestow in 3-games and  Bill Mehilos in the final.
