A juniors program is available at the Lattof YMCA in DesPlaines, IL. The program is for children in grades 3rd -10th, from beginners to advanced players. This program is taught by Don Quinlan who has been teaching handball for many years and his program is the best in the country. Where: Lattof YMCA 300 E. Northwest Hwy. Beginners (3th - 10th grades) For those who have played for a short period of time, or have never played before. This is a great introduction to the game of handball. Players learn the rules of th game, develop skills and begin to learn game strategy. Saturdays 4:10pm - 5:00pm Aces (4th - 10th grades) Players receive instruction on more advanced playing skills as well as game and tournament stradegies. Aces progress to the one bounce game and use the official junior ball, the white ace. These players are the future shooters (team member). Saturdays 5:00pm - 6:00pm Shooters (4th - 10th grades) The future of the game rest in these players hands and what great hands they are. Numerous national champions have come out of this program. Players set their own goals and progress at their own pace. Shooters have the opportunity to compete in tournaments both on a local level and a national level. Saturdays 5:00pm - 6:00pm
