21st Annual La Grange 3-Wall Tournament Results
Youth prevailed in the Open Singles Final at the La Grange 3-Wall tournament today, July 17 as Nikolai Nahorniak beat David Chapman, 10-21, 21-14, 11-5 to take the $1500 first place prize. The heat was a factor as well with mid-90's and high humidity taxing the limits of all players. Chapman and Bill Mehilos prevailed in a well played Open Doubles final, besting Nahorniak and Marco Lemus, 11-20, 21-20, 11-3.

In other action, Mike Dornecker beat Rick Leonard in the A Singles, 21-13, 21-12, Bill Bolster Jr and Hector Facio Jr topped Carey Dohman and Tim Nolan 10-21, 21-20, 11-4 in the B Doubles. Dave Dohman and Scott Rosenthal won the Master Doubles, 21-11, 21-8 and Dohman paired with Ray Zielinski in the 120+ Doubles beating bother Larry Dohman and John Bercher, 21-8, 21-12. The Master B Doubles was won by Mike Evon and Mike McGarry over Burt Connolly and Enrique Gonzalez, 21-11, 21-14.
