With over 40 entries in the Open division the Milwaukee Classic Pro Qualifier had one of the strongest competitions this year. Both Bill Mehilos and Dave Munson qualified to compete in the USHA Seattle Pro Stop. David Munson beat Jon Iglesias 5-21, 21-12, 11-2 in the quarterfinals. Munson then went on to beat David Fink in the semi-finals and defeated Mehilos to win the tournament.

Both Suhn Lee and Nikolai Nahorniak lost close matches in the round of 16, Lee to Dan Armijo 21-19, 21-18 and Nahorniak to Chris Tico  16-21, 21-13, 11-5.
