Nov. 2-4, 2007 -- The Peoria Handball Club hosted its 40th annual Fall Classic Tournament on November 2-4. Eighty-nine players from the Midwest came to test their skills on the handball court. Special thanks to the college kids from Missouri State and Lake Forest who always bring great games and enthusiasm to the tournament. An extra treat this year was the addition of a Junior’s event as Juniors from Lattof and St. Louis met in Peoria. The Open division had 16 players and was very competitive vying for the $500 First Place money. Kevin Pettus was the class of the field beating Suhn Lee in the finals. Jon Iglesias took a game in the first semi from Pettus and Suhn defeated Chip Morales in an entertaining match.
