LaGrange 3-Wall B Doubles League
Summer 2003

This summer saw the first ever 3-Wall B Doubles League. 18 teams participated in the league on Thursday nights at the LaGrange Handball courts. Play concluded a few weeks ago with playoffs. The top team in the League was Scott Sutker and Carlos Zamora who defeated Tim Nolan and Bill Moritz. They joined the league in mid-season and were undefeated in their regular season matches as well as the playoffs.

I will run the B doubles league again next year with some changes to reduce cancellations and rescheduling. The goal of the league continues to be to promote play at the courts and make sure everyone can get a match. I've received some good suggestions such as to have 3 players assigned to a team so players are always available; to make the league more like a ladder where teams can challenge other teams.
