ABOUT THE IHA

4-Wall, 3-Wall, 1-Wall, Any Ball, Any Wall

The mission of the Illinois Handball Association is to promote the Perfect Game, Handball. We organize tournaments in the Chicagoland area throughout the year.

WHERE WE PLAY

4-WALL

4 wall (Indoor) is played in many clubs in the Chicagoland area. Clubs with large numbers of players include: Schaumburg Tennis Plus, Westmont Park District, Silver Lakes Country Club, and many of the YMCAs. Please reach out if you are interested in playing in our area we would be happy to connect you with our local players.

3-WALL

3 wall (Outdoor) is played in the Chicagoland area at two locations:

Rainbow Beach – 76th Street & Lake Michigan, Chicago, IL
Gordon Park – Ogden Ave. just east of LaGrange Road in LaGrange, IL

Groups play from April to September, weather permitting. Gordon Park is active on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons / evenings. Both sets of courts are very active on the weekends.

1-WALL

Just outside of Chicago, Griffith IN has a set of four newly refurbished 1 wall courts in Cheever Park. Several events through the year are hosted here.
